"drama"

people would use drama instead of bullying because drama can be several things whereas bullying is an abusive person bullies others. according to teenagers boyed said drama can be used in all aspects of a teenager life.in my opinion drama is just an act people use to make themselves feel better about themselves. if a bully does a drama he/she probably get the feeling of thinkin themselves as highly compare to others.and the victimee can use it to ignore the concerns. we all use drama in everyday of our lives i guess.

language

yesterday my friends were talking about this video on you tube it was about this little girl age 6 or 7 in the video she was saying how her biological father abused her when you see the video you can actually feel her sorrow and pain and frustration. when she said she wanted to kill her little brother i thought the reason why she attacked him was maybe cause shes 6, frustrated and not very productive with language wanting to let her anger out she thought this was the best way. i think its impossible to apply human rights or language of human rights on these conditions.i have a lot of questions and opinions on my mind concerning the video and the human rights but i dont think i can post all of them here.  the video was very emotional and depress ...

lives of african americans

Adnan Razzaq

Somewhere around late 1700 century Benjamin Banneker wrote a letter to thomas jefferson, former secretary of state, stating how slaves around the U.S are being treated.  however he wasnt a slave himself, he pleaded to the writer of the decleration of independence that african americans are also human and should be treated like one. He also stated that blacks were always looked upon and that they are incapable of mental abilities.  In the letter he mentioned how they fought against the british. Moreover, he said if we are all christians and belong to the same family then why is it that people with dark skin are being held against their own will.

On the other hand olaudah equiano, an african slave witnessed all the horrific scenes when he was traded from one slave traders to another.  In his text he mentioned how the sick or dead slaves were thrown off the ship as they were brought to the Americas.  however his journey wasnt completely horrific,he himself was amused by witnessing things that he saw for the first time.

Most of us would say that it would be impossible to feel what equiano felt but i think we can get the idea after reading his text.  in my opinion i think he was scared, feared but at same time he has amazed.  To slave traders it was more about the money and property they owned.  they didnt care whatsoever about "same sensations".

I assume that the most important knowledge communicated by slaves is hope.  I believe this because they were always expecting something or someone might come to the rescue and save them from those dreadful scenes they confronted everyday of their lives.  One great example I would like to single out is of equiano’s, an African American slave who took off from his owners, found himself stranded in jungle and hoped of getting home.

I think when every human being is isolated forcefully from his or her own, deep down there is always a little bit of faith that sooner or later they will be together.  I remember when I was away from my family for couple of days and I felt so alone.  Just imagine those slaves who were brought to this land which was totally strange to them, away from their relatives.  As I mentioned earlier Olaudah Equiano who was one of the victims who ran away into the jungle hoping that there might be a way to get back home?  Feeling what he felt would be impossible as he said in his text, “and now I learned from them, that any attempt to return home would be hopeless.”  He thought there might be a little bit of light in all the darkness and when all the obstacles seemed to attack him but I guess in the end he lost that little bit of hope he had.

the language of human rights

the language of human rights in my opinion is that we understand each other no matter what language we speak.we should be able to understand each others cultures and tolerate it.but when it comes to religion there is a problem with because the person that strongly believe in that religion think of him or herself highly as oppose to others.in the morning we were discussing about how we can bring ideal and reality to come close i guess we cant cuz if we did then this world would be very boring place i think us humans need problems in our lives because we r so used to them but if the problems get out of control thats when the human rights come in to make situation stable.............i dont know if im being clear but i hope u guys understand what im trying to say!!!!
